It is debatable whether white is a colour, because white light comprises of all the hues on the visible light spectrum. This also applies to black because the combination of a variety of pigments create black. But in a technical sense, black and white are not colours, they are values and tones that make up the achromatic scale.
This exhibition includes an array of international and national artists working mainly in abstraction and in various mediums to create artwork with values and tones of Black and White.
